I'm getting ready to head down to Florida for a bit on a work trip. As is my custom, my brain is in vacation mode long before my body starts traveling. So I present you with a warm up practice dress rehearsal tropical outfit.
This is just a cheapie polyester top that I bought for a trip to Hawaii a long time ago, and my white drawstring pants that I have had forever. But as I said, my planning is off, because it is very cloudy today, and I had to resort to wearing a forest green suede jacket on top.
The jacket is made by Bernardo. Here's another peek.
Since the top is black, white, blue and green, I wore a costume goldtone necklace with blue and green stones.
Beneath it, I am wearing a faux turquoise lariat necklace.
You can see the paisley print of the top better in this shot. For jewelry, I am only wearing one turquoise enamel cuff.
And for their maiden voyage, the comfort shoes I bought at Nordstrom on Good Friday, but haven't worn yet.
Onto the Tuesday links!!! As usual, Laura at www.walkinginmemphisinhighhells.com is hosting Trend Spin. Then two new gals - Jess at www.elegantlydressedandstylish.com has Turning Heads Tuesday, and Melissa at www.Mahogany-Closet.com had Mahogany Monday, but I'm a bit late to the party. Have a great Tuesday !!!!
