Wishing For Blue Skies

I know that I am not alone in wishing the best for Texas and the other regions affected by Hurricane Harvey. I am hoping that they will soon see skies as blue as the top I am wearing today:

This is a WC poncho type top worn over a self made white tank dress.

Here's a closeup of the trim on the neckline, hem and sleeves. The top is cotton, so it does get a little wrinkly and needs ironing before wearing.

My necklace is the cross that Doc got me from the Southwest Indian Foundation.

On my left arm, a turquoise cuff, a blue topaz band, and a round solitaire.

On my right arm, another turquoise cuff, and another blue topaz ring - it was my mom's.

And the outfit is finished off with white Jessica Simpson shoes.

So we are having a heat wave in SoCal, but my thoughts and prayers are with Texas. I will just sweat it out and leave all the blessings for them.
