Walk on The Wild Side

We'll start with another selfie stick outtake. Not much improvement in my technique.

But just look at how hard I work !!! All those important papers on my desk !!!! Anyway, yesterday, as I was minding my own business, I got an email from Stein Mart. They miss me. Honestly, I haven't been there in a long time. The last couple of times that I went, the styles seemed rather matronly, even for an old bag like me. But they offered me an extra 40 % off Red Dot Clearance, which is usually already 50% off. So I went. Here is my receipt.

I saved $144.14 !!! I only spent $29.01. The racks were jammed with summer stuff, and the fall stuff is already there, so they need to head it up and move it out. Here's what I got for $29.01.

First, a costume goldtone collar type necklace. I was watching something on TV and saw a character wearing something similar, so I was actually looking for this. I found another version as well.

This goldtone necklace has stations with crystals in the front. I also got this Tshirt top from One World.

It has a drapey chiffon panel in the front. It's a nice basic. Then I got one of those scuba skirts.

Sorry about the belly, but I wanted you to see the whole print. It's made by Sharagano, and I can't see why it couldn't be worn with the top tucked in as well. I have a few things from Sharagano, and they came from nice stores. So here's how the top and skirt looked together.

Pretty cute and pretty comfy, so a winner in my book. I wore some very colorful accessories with this getup. First, my plastic necklace from China via EBay.

That picks up three of the colors in the skirt. Then, on my right arm,

My bracelet/ring duo from Saks. On my left arm,

A wedding set and the same two enamel bangles as yesterday. But the piece de resistance

My aqua purse with gold trimmings, and some new shoes that I got at a consignment shop. They are made by Alfani. They were unworn, so I wondered why they were on consignment. I thought that maybe they were torture chambers, so I brought a spare pair of shoes in case.

Turns out that they are fine. Maybe it was the strange color. But lucky for me, it just happens to match the last color in the skirt.

Onto links!!! First, Grace from www.colorandgrace.com has Color and Grace Fashion. I am certainly colorful. Then Liz at www.shoppingmycloset.com has Style Me Wednesday. And as always, Lindsey at www.thepleatedpoppy.com has What I Wore.  I will leave you with a picture of my Fiesta Chicken Salad that I had for lunch yesterday. Have a good one, and thanks for looking.
