Happy Haul A Day !!

See what I did there?  Such wit. Anyhow, I have not shopped since the Great Clean Out of Labor Day, except for one pair of shoes from Nordstrom and a trip to the swap meet.  Now I actually wear most of my giant collection. But a girl will be a girl, and I am tired of spending all my dough on my house, so I went trippin' after Christmas. Most of it was consignment, so not a huge footprint on the environment. Away we go !!!

The first two items are from Stein Mart. First up is a dark floral shift dress from Philosophy. It ended up to be about $30 after all the discounts.

Then I got a Peck and Peck cold shoulder T shirt. I already have the black short sleeve version and this was only $5.

This one has long angel sleeves. I will probably use this as a summer statement piece.

That was December 26th. On the 27th, I went to two consignment shops that weren't open on the 26th. The first was Working Wardrobes, where I got 4 items. They were having a 50% off sale, so all 4 cost $13. First up, A Target skirt:

It came with a really cheap looking patent belt that I am going to use to fix a nice belt that I have. The print is black, mauve, mustard and grey.

I am a sucker for Vegas style sweaters. You can't get much more Vegas than this Belldini sweater.

The zipper and pull are laden with clear crystals.

Then I got a mint long sleeve ribbed undershirt type T shirt.

It has lace epaulets and is made by Col Story.  It's a very pretty color.

I also got this INC stretch mesh embroidered tank. It will go with many things. All the white is heavy embroidery.

Before I pooped out, I went to the Assistance League. I think it may be an LDS shop, because I saw the Deseret Industries truck outside.  They always have nice items, just like the American Cancer Discovery Shops. I found two things there.

The first was this chiffon butterfly vest with black piping. I wasn't going to get it because it was all tangled up. But the line was long, so I amused myself by straightening it out.

For a dollar, I will give it a go.

The big score was this Rebecca Taylor dress, at $4. There was a lady behind me who insisted that it was a child's dress, even to the cashier.  It's not, of course.

Here's the back. It's a mix of navy and black stretchy fabric, with the black being more like mesh.

And that is my final haul for a while - maybe until Memorial Day, if I behave.
