Like a Thief In The Night

My beauty slumber has been interrupted a bit over the past couple of nights. Kenni has been having barking spasms at about one in the morning, basically every other night. Sunday night, I couldn't take it any more and went out into the backyard to see what the @$%& was going on. I expected to find a possum cornered by my valiant little protectors. Nope. I saw a fat gray butt with a long striped tail. Then he turned around and mocked me as he chomped on one of MY tangerines. So I got a broom and poked him off the wall. Take that, Mr Racoon. But he was back 30 minutes later. I guess those tangerines are really good and worth a poke. Last night, Mr Racoon was persona non grata. But I'm sure he'll be back. Saty tuned for more of Racoon-gate.

Onto better stuff, mainly ME. Here's what I am wearing today:

A Talbot's skirt and a Bisou Bisou sweater with a black lurex tank underneath. My new purse matched so well that I had to get a shot of myself carrying it.

Here's a better look at the sweater. It ties at the waist with a black satin ribbon and has beads sprinkled on the top half. The bottom half is ribbed.

With this outfit, I wore a black and brown crystal cross necklace.

I was going to wear black shoes, but then I decided to give the lovin' to my Mixit 6 shoes.

They are tan suede with pewter studs, and despite the high heel, are very comfy. On my left arm,

a black metal "lace" stretch bracelet by INC, and my Nordstrom veiny boulder ring. On my right arm,

My Swarovski Nirvana in Black Diamond, and my Swarovski Platinum cuff. So that's it, except for some links. First, Jess at www.elegantlydressedandstylish.com is hosting Turning Heads Tuesday. Then, Rachelle at www.pinksole.com is having How I spring. Lastly, Lauren at www.stylelixir.com is having Style Sessions.

We are on day 2 of a surprise inspection from CMS - Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Then my last tennis class of this session is tonight (sniff - I like a bunch of the people). Well, have a great day, and stay away from raccoons and government inspectors!!!
