Silky Then Stretchy

Yesterday, I wore a silky outfit:

The tweed blazer is from Bisou Bisou and the rose silk dress is from Speigel.

At some point, the dress had a self belt, but it wasn't on the hanger, so I used my trusty black satin sash.

The dress has a lot of detail. There is tonal stitching down the front and some seed beads scattered here and there.

Likewise, the tweed blazer is trimmed with a rose damask edging on the collar and four pocket flaps. The pockets are faux.

I wore a costume crystal necklace on a leather cord. It was on a pale lilac suede strip, but it was dirty and stretched out, so I substituted the cord.

Then today, the opposite. A mostly black, stretchy outfit.

The jacket is from Caprice, and I will show you the details that make it a little different in a minute. It is sweater knit. The skirt is from Clifford and Willis, and it all stretch jersey, even the white waistband. No belt needed.

So here are the jacket details. I would describe the pattern as honeycomb, and it has patent trim along the jewel neckline and around the faux pockets.

I wore two red necklaces. Both were my mom's. The longer one is KJL. The shorter one is another of those convertible pieces that has 10 different colored stones.

On my right arm, a gold/diamond dust bracelet, a ruby bracelet, and a ruby cocktail ring.

On my left arm,  two pieces from INC - a leather / goldtone cuff and a crystal cross ring.

And that's it for today, except for some links: ( a lot of links, because there are so many beautiful ladies out there)
