My Clothes aren't the Only Thing That's a Stretch

Today and tonight, our forecast is for virga, fog, and sprinkles. The famous corner office view:

To deal with this drizzly weather, I wore one of my favorite lightweight coats, made by Carole Little.

It's a blue velvety sort of thing, with a shiny black reptile pattern embossed on top of the velvet.

Underneath, I wore a print batwing top by Style and Co, and tan slacks that are older than the hills, but I still love them.

This outfit is super comfy. I wore an elastic belt to give it some shape, without taking away any of the comfort factor.

I like the darker saddle color next to the tan, black and blue in the top. The top is embellished with studs scattered around the neckline and on the sleeve edges.

To go along with it, I wore an East Indian gold and sapphire necklace. I also chose to wear some very old earrings that I love. They are the man in the moon.

On my left arm, I wore my costume goldtone leaf bracelet from Stacy's Closet.

I didn't wear a ring because I have a booboo on my bird finger, and there is a big bandaid there. When I was taking them off the other day, I got in a fight with my purple boots, and injured the bird. On my right arm,

I have a smoky topaz flower ring and an INC cuff that I got in Fort Lauderdale. I also wore my new gladiator sandals. I had a very similar pair about 4 years ago, but I wrecked them walking all over in San Luis Obispo. These are by Dolce Vita, from Nordstrom.

Yesterday, I got a nice comment from Linda Lou at www.alabouroflife.com, inviting me to join her linkup, A Labour of Fashion, so I am. Nice to meet you, Linda!!! Also, I am linking with Grace from www.fashionforgiants.com for her linkup, Literary Stylings. I am using my Carole Little trench coat to pretend that I am as glamourous as Ali McGraw in Love Story. Hence the stretch from the title.

I hope you all have a great weekend, and I'll see you on the other side on Monday!!!
