40 - Love

The 40 is my score, the love is Elli's. Last night was Comfortis night again. I was anticipting a little bit of warfare, so I stopped at the Dollar Tree on the way home for some ammo.
I switched from ham to turkey for two reasons - I used ham the last two times, and I don't want Elli to develop a ham phobia, and the turkey was on sale for 25 cents. It worked like a charm, once again. I turkey bombed Elli and got the nasty medicine down her. I also got Kenni a new collar, for no reason other than he is one sharp dressed man. Then I went to tennis class.

So you get to see me in my blue tennis outfit, in a bonus action shot. I am waving my arms and talking as I walk towards the camera. So athletic and elegant - HAHAHA. Oh well. It's sometimes disappoints me to see what I really look like when in motion. Then I get over it a millisecond later. So there are only 3 of us in the class. It's kind of a double edged sword - we get to hit more balls, but we also have more to pick up and put back in the hopper. But I like the teacher and the other two students.

We are on the verge of a mini heat wave here in Huntington Beach. So I dressed very summery and light. I have no meetings today, so I don't need to impress anyone. My dress is by Betsey Johnson. It's yellow and black eyelet, trimed with black piping. It's soooo cute, but it has always been very snug.

It sometimes gets chilly in the hospital, so I brought a matching sweater made by Worthington. I didn't get it at the same time as the dress. The Betsyville store in Fashion Island was closing a few years back, so I got myself this dress, and a spring coat for my mom. Here's the sweater.

As you can see, I wore my black coral necklace. It's absolutely perfect with this outfit. I am also wearing pretty casual shoes, made by Dexter. They are thong sandals, with black crystals on the strap and cork wedges. They are patent leather and have a memory foam insole. I think I am in love.

Gotta love that bandaid. I got a blister the other day in downtown HB, and the only bandaids that stay stuck to my toe are the Safari ones.

The Safari bandaids and the general tropical feel of our heatwave inspired me to bust out all of the Aloha Bowl bangles. On my left arm, the two black floral ones, and on the right arm, the white and green honu ones. The black and white ring is a souvenir from Baltimore, and the chunky stone ring is of unknown origin.

So that's about it for today. I am going out for lunch, then to WalMart after work to get a few things for the house. Pictures to follow, cuz I know you all want to see what I bring home from WalMart.(??? Are they as dorky as me, I ask myself?). Also, I am once again linking up for What I Wore at www.thepleatedpoppy.com. Have a great day!!!
