Animal Attraction

Well, I guess my Winter recap inspired me to mix some of my old items together. As you saw from the post, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Well, I think that today I am a "Winner winner, chicken dinner!!" I really like this outfit. Cute and comfy and all made of older pieces.

On top, I have a nice thick knit cardigan made by Charter Club ( a Macy's brand). Underneath, I am wearing my Theory dress/jumper.

I cinched it all together with my Dolce and Gabbanna belt.

My necklace is also a rerun of many years. It's a combo pin/pendant/clip made of Swarovski crystals, although it's not that brand. I got it at Nordstrom.

On my left hand, two genuine Swarovski pieces - my Nirvana in Black Diamond and my Platinum cuff.

On my right hand, a costume ring that I got as a souvenir in Baltimore.

I am wearing my cheapie leopard fabric booties that I got for $5.98 at the Forever 21 after Xmas sales a couple of years ago.

I am wearing brown tights with them. I am carrying my Beverly Hills Bag Lady equestrian themed handbag.

And that's about it for the outfit. Over the weekend, I went to the Clipper game on Friday night. We played the Washington Wizards, and we won. We actually led for the entire game.  As always, here is the floor just prior to the game starting.

They did something a little different on Friday - they threw out these big lighted balls for the crowd to bounce to each other. They looked like they were made of parachute material.

I just wore jeans, a silver lurex cowl neck sweater, and a jacket I got at this year's after Xmas sales. It's by Style and Co, which is yet another Macy's brand.

Here's a closeup of the skull, made entirely of tiny silver studs.

I got home late, about 11:30 or so. On Saturday morning, I got up at 6:30 to go for a company sponsored hike in the Orange/Tustin area of town, about a half hour away from Huntington Beach. It was at a regional park called Peters Canyon.

It was a beginner/intermediate hike. There was one big hill to give it the intermediate classification.

We hiked for 5 miles, which took about an hour and a half.

Everyone seemed to have a good time. The hospital does these every third Saturday of the month. I will be attending whenever I can.

Today, it's Monday, so of course I am linking to Patti at www.notdeadyetstyle.com for Visible Monday. Go see this beautiful lady if you have a chance. And..... have a great Monday!!!
