Getting back in the swing

So I have only worked one day out of the last two weeks - first I went with Doc to Las Vegas for his CME, and then I went by myself to New Orleans for my CME. So yesterday, when I was getting ready for work, I didn't realize how long it took me. I guess I am out of the swing of things, especially timing in the morning. Today, I did better.

First of all, this is what was waiting for me at home:

Red roses and yellow gerbera daisies, and ......

One love starved Vinni. He even hung out longer than Elli and Kenni, wanting some petting and hugging, so that's what I gave my little ivory fox.

Yesterday, this is what I wore:

The sweater is by Joseph A, and the skirt is by Moonesha.  Moonie is a friend of my sister's, so when I was up in Montana, she gave each of us a skirt from her fall line. It's a very silky and very full jersey knit with a side tie feature at the waist. It has almost every color in the rainbow.

To tie in two more of the colors from the skirt, I wore an amethyst pendant and a faux emerald pendant.

On my right arm, a multi-color gem bracelet, a gold/diamond dust bracelet, and a ring that has a tanzanite and a blue topaz in a ying-yang pattern.

On my left arm, my yellow gold wedding set, a diamond tennis bracelet, and a blue topaz bracelet.

Today, I have to go up to another one of the hospitals in our system and into the OR. So a non-wrinkling outfit is called for.

Calvin Klein to the rescue!!! This is my ivory and black intarsia knit dress - very hefty and cool.

I topped it with a red leather jacket by id Sport.

I wore my black coral necklace, made from coral harvested in the Caribbean Sea by a friend.

On my right arm, a gold bracelet, a ruby bracelet, and a tiny diamond cross ring.

On my left arm, my wedding set and my Hermes CDC.

And this little beauty is my New Orleans souvenir - a Yves St Laurent crossbody bag !!! I always get something useful for a souvenir. Then, whenever I use it, I think of the place where I bought it.

Have a great day, and see you all tomorrow!!!
