Mid Week Mashup

Yesterday was another presentation day, so I had to whip out another super professional outfit:

Don't you love the "duh" look on my face? Hopefully, it was gone by the time I had to speak.
This is a Kasper suit in a strange neutral color that I cannot even begin to describe, but it seems to match with everything.

Here is the Loft blouse that I wore underneath. It is taupe with gold lurex accents and a tie neck.

My costume necklace is actually a long strand that I wound around my neck twice. That way, it doesn't compete with the bow.

On my left arm, a tricolor gold bracelet and my yellow gold wedding set.

On my right arm, a costume ring and the gold bracelet that my mom gave me. I was rough with it and broke it, but the jeweler did a great job repairing it.

Today, I am a vision in plum. This tweed skirt has always been snug, but it seemed even tighter this morning. I guess it's one of two things - either too many late night burritos, or my ever shifting post menopausal body. When I look at the picture of my chest and arms above, I think I look bony and definitely don't want to get any skinnier. So I will just try not to eat gut bombs right before bed, or else this is what happens when you are pushing 60. It is a VERY old skirt.

The top is from Nordstrom, and you will see the pewter chain detail a little bit later.

On top, a waterfall cardigan from Macy's by Style and Company. I got it at an after Christmas sale a few years ago. I got both burgundy and tan, because they worked out to be around $7 each.

Well, I lied. You can barely see the pewter trim on the T shirt. But it is exactly the same color as the long dangly necklace that is actually a belt. I got it at White House, Black Market in Las Vegas.

On my left arm, a costume ring and silver bracelet.

On my right arm, another costume ring and a bracelet that I got from EBay.

Here's a better look at this tight sucker. It is loosening up as the day goes by, so at least I can breathe.  My adorable shoes are Valentino, but they need to go to the shoemaker.
