Trouble in the Skies!!

Not really. We are just gearing up for our first El Nino rampage. We are getting light rain today, then heavy rain Tuesday through at least Friday. So I'll go see my mom today and then not tomorrow, because with the rain, it will take me an hour to get down there and back. We also saw the weirdest thing in the sky on New Year's Day. I had to look it up on the internet, because I had never seen anything like it. All the neighbors were outside taking pix of it.

This is called a Fallstreak cloud. That's not the sun. There was a hole in the clouds and it was filled with a rainbow. They are often seen in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana, but are rarely filled with a rainbow like ours was. It was cool.

So back to work today, after a week off. Here's what I wore:

This sweater knit dress is by Calvin Klein. I topped it with the plum colored sweater coat that I got at Macy's on the day after Christmas. It's a very soft and snuggly outfit.

I wore the garnet necklace and earring set that my mom gave me for my 45th birthday. The earrings look just like the necklace.

On my right hand, a fire opal ring and the silver bracelet that Preston gave me for Christmas.

On my left hand, a fire opal band and a diamond solitaire, and the garnet and ruby bracelet that my mom gave me for my 40th birthday.

And that's about it for today. Let's resume our regular Monday linking. Ana Luiza at www.northwestblonde.com has Start The Week Stylish. Then, Melissa from www.mahogany-closet.com has Mahogany Closet Monday. Next, Deb from www.elegantlyfashionable.com has Classy Monday. After that, Rachelle from www.pinksole.com has How I Fall, and finally, Cherie from www.stylenudge.com has Shoe and Tell. Have a great day, and see you later!!!
