November 9th was Vinni's fourteenth birthday! He is still spry and agile. To celebrate, we got him a double cheeseburger from McDonald's. Vinni, Pandi, and Jacki split two of these delectable delights.
On November 11th, Doc and I took Mimi to her pulmonologist appointment down in Newport Beach. My outfit was a big hit with Mimi and with a couple of the other patients. I confessed that I got his Halogen dress at the Salvation army $2.99 sale
On November 12th, I went to CVS while Doc took Win to the cardiologist. I went to CVS to get hair color and fingernails for a much-needed glow up. I wore windowpane plaid slacks from Old Navy and a quarter zip sweater from Calvin Klein, both thrifted.
On November 13th, I went to a sale put on by a company called Hasco. Everything was $5. I wore slacks from New York and Company, and the quarter zip from SmartWool that I got last month at the Army. I got my necklace at the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop for $2.

On November 15th and 16th, it poured rain! The dogs had to sleep on their patio chairs,
The drainage channel to the ocean was surging.
King Greystone, our neighborhood hawk, perched on his star pine and watched the deluge.
On November 17th, we took a walk to the bank between the leftover rain sprinkles. I wore the Old Navy windowpane pants again, along with a Tommy Hilfiger tank and a Gap sweater. I wore my Levi's wool moto jacket on top.
Pandi was sacked out. The storms did not bother her a bit.
Should I give her this 1950s era horse meat to pep her up?
On November 18th, we just walked dogs and didn't do much else. I wore the green ponte pants, a blouse from Bandolino and a sweater from Loft.
On November 19th, we went to Costco with Win to get food for a Mexican Thanksgiving. We got pork and cheese tamales, chicken flautas, pecan pie, pumpkin pie and a poinsettia. I wore blue slacks from Star Moon Sun, a cashmere turtleneck from Neiman Marcus, and a waterfall sweater coat from Alberto Makali.
On November 20th, I went to lunch with a friend from the hospital. I wore one of my favorite dresses from Rachel Roy, in a skater Style. I wore sapphire jewelry and Sam Edelman boots. On top, a pleather jacket from New Look.
On November 21st, I took Pandi to the groomer to get her nails trimmed. She made a big fuss, so I tipped the very nice lady $5 for the $5 service. She earned it. I wore black slacks, a cashmere V neck from Club Room and a blazer from Tahari.
On November 22nd, I went to Bath and Body Works. They had their sandsoaps on sale for $2.95, and they are usually $17. I think I got six. I wore brown corduroy jeans, an ivory blouse from Clifford and Wills, and a Fair Isle sweater from INC. I wore a brown corduroy jacket from Bellini on top.
On November 23rd, we went to the swap meet. I wore black sateen pants from Cache and a pearl embellished grey leopard sweater from INC.

Later that afternoon, we went to HB Central Park. I saw five of the biggest pelicans I have ever seen!
The weather was beautiful.
On November 25th, we went to Stater Brothers to get a few last-minute items for Thanksgiving dinner. I wore the tan ponte pants, and a sweater from J Ferrer. My new suede boots were purchased at the swap meet.
On Wednesday the 26th, we didn't do a lot. I wore velour joggers from Guess, and a crushed velvet top from ChaCha Vente.
Pandi slumbered in bliss as per usual.
Here is what I wore on Thanksgiving. I got both pieces at last month's Army sale. The skirt is Vera Wang, and the top is Ulla Johnson. I wore Temu shoes and my belt by Carlisle. I wore pearl and tiger eye jewelry.
Here's a picture of the table.
This is Ashley and her giant bunny Tater Mae Skyhopper. I think she is a Flemish giant and will grow to 22-24 pounds. She is 12 pounds now.
On Black Friday, it was back to the Sal Army for another $2.99 sale. I wore the Nine west baggy jeans, a turtleneck, and a blazer from Kasper.
Here's what I scored: Not shown, four long sleeve T shirts and four pairs of cargo shorts for Doc.

Mossimo satin sneakers, used for $20, I paid $4.50
A new with tags sweater from Anne Klein, retail $99, I paid $3.50
A faux Fendi top, I paid $4. I compared it to my real one, and there are a lot of quality differences, but i don't think anyone will look that closely or care.
A no label crossbody bag, I paid $3.50
A no label pewter mesh metal belt, I paid 0.99.
Some Temu flats, never worn. I paid $3.50 and they cost about $15 on Temu.
