Here at work, we just had a big event last week, and we are planning an even bigger one next week, so it's a tiny bit hectic. I didn't get a chance to post yesterday, so today you get a two-fer. First, yesterday, I wore this:
This is a Calvin Klein scuba dress that I got with the gift card my MIL gave me for my birthday. I love it, due to the extreme comfort factor and the flattery factor.
I topped it with a long sweater from Style and Co. I doubled up on two long faux turquoise necklaces.
On my right arm, a stretchy crystal bracelet (that makes puckers in my flab) and an enamel/crystal ring, both from Saks.
On my left arm, an enamel cuff, and my yellow gold wedding set.
Today, I went for a similar shape, but opposite colors.
This knit dress is the one I picked up in Washington DC, in the "second best Marshall's in the world", according to my friend.
I topped it with a perforated suede jacket by La Belle. I wore my very old Kathy Levine shoes with the faux bamboo heel.
I also wore my black plastic waterfall necklace. I shined it up a bit with a splash of Windex last night.
On my right arm, my Swarovski Nirvana in Black Diamond and the beaded cuff from the Chakra Shack in Laguna Beach.
On my left arm, an animal cuff by Betsey Johnson and the ring I got as a souvenir from Baltimore.
Since I missed a day, lots of links. First, Ana Luiza at www.northwestblonde.com has Start the Week Stylish. Melissa at www.mahogany-closet.com had Mahogany Closet Monday. Onto Tuesday, with Jess at www.elegantlydressedandstylish.com and Turning Heads Tuesday. Finally for Wednesday, Lindsey at www.thepleatedpoppy.com has What I Wore, Liz at www.shoppingmycloset.com has Style Me Wednesday, www.sydneyfashionhunter.com has Fresh Fashion Forum, and Tameka at www.pastriespumpsandpi.blogspot.com has What I Wore Wednesday.
Whew. That's what I get for taking the day off. Have a good one, and hopefully, I will post again tomorrow.
