Mi Pobrecita Esta Enferma!!!

Poor little Elli is improving from her bout of Bordetella. In humans, this bacterium causes whooping cough, and her little cough sounds exactly like the kind babies get if not vaccinated. Last night, she had a 20 minute bout of coughing, with few breaks in between. So we had to literally stuff a cough suppressant pill down her. But it worked, so that's good. Today, Doc is going to pick up a liquid form.

Anyway, here is what I am wearing for today's shenanigans:

This is a satin finish skirt from Macy's. topped by a black lurex wrap sweater, with a lace trimmed cami underneath. On top, I wore my fabulous Karen Lawrence vintage jacket with the faux fur cuffs.

Since I wore my BCBG boots, and they have gold hardware, I stuck to gold tone jewelry.

I look bony. What else is new? On my right arm, I have a crystal/bead bracelet from Neiman Marcus and a garnet/diamond ring.

On my left arm, two gold bracelets, and my Saks white enamel and crystal ring from Saks.

And, as one of my new duties, we are having a celebration for the Doctor of the Month today. Here is his gorgeous cake.
