Well, about an hour later, there were reports of "snow" on the beach and in downtown HB. It turned out that the snow was actually pea-sized hail. Here are a couple of actual pictures of the hail on the beach.
Isn't that cool? The news said that it has been something like 23 years since anything of this nature has occurred. But today is a transitional day - there are still some clouds out, but for the most part, it's bright and sunny.
So what am I wearing today?
A mix and match outfit. The jacket is the top half of a vintage Albert Nipon suit. The chiffon skirt is INC, and the crochet sweater is Spiegel. Let's get a look without the jacket.
Let's also get a look at the Albert Nipon jacket. It has chiffon ruffle trim around the neckline and the cuffs.
And the chiffon skirt has two layers of fabric, plus it is fully lined.
The colors match exactly, even though the suit originally had a skirt that went with it. I wore two necklaces - one long and one short. The longer one came from Charming Charlie.
It has lavender pearls, purple pearls, grey crystals, and a mauve tassel. Something for everyone!!! The shorter necklace is Austrian crystal in purple with clear separators.
With this, I wore grey tights, so to keep along smooth line going, I went with my Pour La Victoire suede wedges.
The arm decorations were easy, since I have a lot of purple. On my left hand, two silver Austrian crystal bracelets and an amethyst/opal ring.
