I got a load of posies and some Miracle-Gro soil, so there will be no need to fertilize. Then I proceeded to plant. First the front porch:
Then, I lined the circular driveway where there are still a couple of brown patches.
And finally, I added two yellow plants to the garage window, where I have geraniums under the shelf.
Yesterday, after all this digging, I didn't feel like working out, so I went over to Daiso and got a few little tchotchkes.
Doc is kinda messy when he makes his breakfast, so the foil burner liners are for that. Then, since we have lost most of our skewers, I replaced them. And the brown paper is for soaking up the grease from fried foods.
I also got Doc a banana hanger, and the little seven hole dish for his food, since he likes a million kinds of sauce on everything. The other two dishes are for Elli's tiny little meals, and a happy cat bank for her savings :)
I actually needed disposable shower caps and a new pad for my ironing board.
Then, I got a bag for fragile items for my trip in a month, a little box with a Paris scene on it, and another divided tray for jewelry. The last one worked out great for me.
Finally, another visor, since the one I have is getting gross from my sweat, a pair of liner socks, since they seem to disappear in the laundry, and some pads for your armpits to protect expensive jackets.
So now, onto what I am wearing today. I finally found a version of this skirt that I like:
Every other time I have worn this skirt, I have felt like a stewardess. It's made by Worthington, a JCP brand. On top, I have a nice thick jersey jacket from Bloomingdale's. Under that, a simple white tank. The weird thing is that the skirt has a zipper on both sides.
I actually went to get another navy and white costume necklace, but when I was holding this in my hand, it seemed to go very well, so I went with it.
On my right arm, the matching white enamel/crystal ring and bracelet set from Saks.
On my left arm, my yellow gold wedding set and my nicest diamond tennis bracelet
I finished it off with my Coach sandals.
