Making Waves!!!

Remember yesterday, I told you that my swimsuit was dead, and I needed to get another one. I also didn't want to spend much. I also had two Target gift cards. So guess where I went ??? Winner, winner, winner !!! Target !!!! I got two suits - each piece was $5.98.

The first one is a striped bottom and a black top with tonal crystals. It's pretty cute. The second one is better - it's a mint green set.

Gotta love the farmer's tan - white from mid thigh up. Here's a closeup of the top and the detail on the sides of the bottoms.

Cute, right? Now, I know that at 56, it's fairly politically incorrect to wear a bikini, but I have lived in SoCal my entire life, and I have seen 70 year olds wear bikinis. It's just the way it is round here.

Then, when I got home, my August Birchbox was waiting for me. The box itself was really cute - it looked like a swimming pool!!!

I am excited to use all of these products, but the dr brandt card says to use "only 12 times per week". I think that must be a misprint, but I'll check it out on Google.

So today, I am once again mostly in OR scrubs, but I did put on an old pantsuit to travel back and forth from work and go to lunch in.

I got it from Spiegel, sometime in the previous century (pre-2000). Here's a better look at the top, along with one of the costume necklaces I got at Stein Mart last week.
