Vintage Round Up

Remember when we went up to Burbank for my birthday and I got some things from Previously On, the store that sells clothes that were used in TV and Movies? I got this 1930s inspired dress:

Here is how it looks on me:

Not a bad fit for something that I didn't try on.

I modernized it by accenting the waist with my Versace belt.

Since that era favored long strands of pearls, I wore my Joan Rivers convertible necklace. I still didn't swap out the worn pearls. Maybe this weekend.

On mt right arm, my Day of the Dead seed bead bracelet that was also purchased in Burbank. Also, a red glass ring.

On my left arm, a plastic ring with crystals and my Hermes CDC.

And I topped it with my Bar III lace jacket.

Last weekend, the Working Wardrobes Outlet had another sale, this time for President's Day. I picked up a couple of items.

I always get any glittery basics that are in good shape. This time it was a pearl trimmed August Silk sweater.

I found a very cute Laundry dress, too.

This dress will be good in a 60s inspired outift.

Then, the kicker - a Nite Line brocade baseball jacket.

Here's a good look at the multicolor print and the tassel that trims the zipper.

So how did this baby look on me?

I wore it with a purple 80s shift from Petite Sophisticate.

You can see the braid trim at the neckline of the dress, as well as my Austrian crystal necklace.

On my right arm, a marcasite ring, a diamond tennis bracelet, and an amethyst tennis bracelet.

On my left arm, a tanzanite band ring and two Austrian crystal stretchy bracelets.

And as a finishing touch, my favorite Nine West T straps.

Yesterday was Elli's day to work in Doc's office. I changed her dress from Star 18 to Japan 10.

And that's everything for today, except for the links:
