All of these items are old. I just got creative and combined them in a new way. The pants are INC, and they are a print of black lace on a tan background. There will be a better view later. The cami is an old standby, and the crocheted vest thing is of unknown origin. And of course, my matte gold leather jacket. I like how this came out - a lot. I'm pretty sure this outfit will end up on the best of winter list. Let's get a look at the top without the jacket.
You can see the pants better also. My butt looks huge in this shot - more trick photography. It's not. I tried on a few different necklaces, and decided on my matte gold collar with gemstone cabochons.
This adds a touch of color to the outfit, and ties in the gold. My shoes were causing a bit of an issue. I have these pretty beaded slingbacks from Nine West that have been sadly ignored. I put them on, and they looked great, but the hem of the slacks kept getting caught between my heel and the insole of the shoe. I have only worn them with dresses, so that was unforeseen. So I changed to my good old standby Boutique 9 sandals.
This is a really good look at my pants. The jewelry was easy - as you may remember, black and gold is my favorite color combo, so I had a lot to choose from. On my left,
A costume cuff from Macy's in Fort Lauderdale and my enamel/crystal ring from Saks. On my right,
One last thing - the progress on Kenni's portrait. Behold.
