This is what I saw when I got home from work on Tuesday. Differential diagnosis = Bug sting versus dental abscess. Remember, she got a wasp sting a couple of weeks ago, so she is sensitized.
I woke up on Wednesday, and it was worse, as you can see. One of my co-workers called her "Pirate Dog". Luckily, the vet had a 3:30 appointment.
Here she is, in the exam room. The vet was leaning toward dental abscess, but when she tried to pry Pandi's mouth open to look, the little devil tried to bite her.
So she got empirical Clindamycin. That'll work.
As of Friday, she was 90% better. She doesn't often go into her crate, but I guess she needed some peace and quiet.
And here she is on Saturday. All better. I managed to wrench her mouth open and did not see a bad tooth, so I am hoping it was a bug sting that got infected.
Then we attempted to pack for our upcoming trip. That did not sit well with little Miss Clinger.
She is wondering whether to put Lambie in the carry on or in the checked bag.
When I told her that she wasn't coming, the ears flew back. I told her that she is off sick leave and needs to get back to protecting the homestead.
Back to work for me, too. I am wearing a Nine West pirate dress (in honor of Miss Pandi) and a Calvin Klein belt.
It rained last might, so I wore an Allison Taylor silk bomber jacket on top.
It has embroidery on the shoulders. I have had it a long time, and darned if these jackets didn't come back in style.
An INC crystal link necklace was the chosen accessory.
On my left arm, two Honu bangles from the Honolulu swap meet, and my yellow gold wedding set.
On my right arm,two more Honu bangles and my creepy green ring from Nordstrom.
