I guess no one told Elli that beauty = pain. Yesterday it was time for her pedi-pedi, which she hates. So after a horrible experience in which she "tried to claw my eyes out", according to the manicurist, we came home. I promised her a treat if she behaved. Well, she got it anyway, since no one actually lost an eye.
That's right !!! Milk does a body good, as the old ads used to say. Elli loved it.
Today, I am wearing one of my favorite summer dresses. It's a silk shift that I bought many years ago at the Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu.
It has a beautifully embellished neckline, done in beads.
I wore a sapphire necklace in a sort of cascading shape.
Likewise, my arms were loaded down with sapphires. On the right, a sapphire/diamond ring and two sapphire bracelets.
On the left arm, a sapphire/diamond cocktail ring and two more bracelets.
I carried my Neiman Marcus denim and gold leather tote and wore navy/black sandals of unknown origin.
I once more attempted a selfie, with similar horrid results as the last time.
Nice. Tonight, I am going to buy a new swimsuit. Doc and I are going to Santa Barbara on vacation in a couple of weeks, and my old one has seen better days. The elastic is non-existent. So I will show you tomorrow. Yesterday, we had made to order deli sandwiches for lunch.
I still have half left over for lunch today.
