Not Quite Twiggy, But.....

We were talking about Twiggy briefly yesterday, and so that reminded me of how cool I used to think the swingers on Carnaby Street were when I was a kid. I would bug my mom to make me psychedelic mini-dresses to wear with my fishnets and gogo boots.

I thought that my new bicolor Vigoss track pants would be a good interpretation.

I am wearing them with a Bebe sleeveless polo and my burgundy leather jacket from the swap meet. Check out the sides of these babies.

My boss said I look like Marcel Marceau. So I  pantomimed the side of the box thing. That'll teach him. Gotta love the pedometer - my everyday accessory. Here's a closer look at the top.

It has rectangular sequins and bugle beads decorating the yoke. Let's get a better look at that necklace.

I got it at Hobby Lobby. I went there, and Michaels, and Joann Fabrics looking for purse straps or handles. No dice, so I guess I will check out the internets. And of course, what shoes would be better then my updated version of the Beatles boots.

See? Just one arm's worth today - a pewter cuff from EBay and a mother of pearl ring.
