Burke Williams It Ain't

I made a decision. Since there has been little action on the new dog front, I decided to take Kenni in and get him all spiffed up in case his new friend shows up unexpectedly. So we went to the "spa". The spa being Dr. Lizardo's. So Kenni got washed, dipped, oiled, vaccinated, and got new medicine. Here is the damage.
And here I thought that my Botox bills were exhorbitant. The new medicine is called Nex Gard, and it went down without a hitch. It looks like a soft dog treat.

One thing about this was funny (not the part where they cost $21 apiece). See the label? It says Rosemary Holtzman. Underneath it, it says Canine. Okay, now I know that I went after work, all sweaty and gross and in my gardening shorts, but really? I thought that I at least looked HUMAN. And although I am slender, I also think that it's obvious that I do not weigh between 24 and 60 pounds. My head probably weighs 24 pounds.

But enough about Kenni Wright Thomason Wright Holtzman. Yesterday, we had a treat at work - a deli sandwich bar. You paid $5.50, got a ticket, and then proceeded to choose bread, meats, cheese, and veggies. I got ciabatta with salami, prosciutto, roast beef, and swiss cheese. Looky here.

But I am just messin' with you. Since the ciabatta was smaller than the other rolls, if you chose it, this is actually what you got for $5.50.
Bllrrgghh. I ate the one on the left. I saved the other one and the chips for later. If I had eaten it all, I would have had to head directly to the ER to get my stomach pumped. But man o man, was it good!!!!

But enough about Kenni and my distended belly. What am I wearing??? The pants have been featured before - they are by Fendi. The top is some little fluffy bit that I got somewhere because I am a sucka for animal print. And I am so comfy.

Onto the ornaments. I wore my cool leopard head pendant.

And on my arms - on the left, three of my Aloha Bowl bangles and a black and white ring from the Banana Republic in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. On the right, my red leather/crystal cuff and a cocktail ring made of rubies and diamonds. I have the same ring in sapphire - they were left to me as a remembrance.

I had originally set out my Calvin Klein pilgrim shoes, but I made a game day substitution with my Enzo Angiolini gladiators. I love these comfy shoes.

To end this post, our Kenni was not as excited as $215.50 should have made him. But at least he didn't have to endure this:

Have a great weekend!!! More stories to follow.
