Sandy With a Chance of Shiny

Kinda like cloudy with a chance of meatballs. The centerpiece of this very comfy outfit is the tan suede Coldwater Creek skirt. Remember, I told you about my friend who is closing her consignment shop? Well, this is one of the final items I bought from her - for $10.

It's almost maxi length, has many panels, and is buttery soft. The only problem is that it makes flapping noises when I walk, so all day I have been turning around to see who is following me. The top is by style and Company. It's knit, with gold lurex and a nice draped cowl neckline.
The fleur de lis necklace is a souvenir from New Orleans. It had to be a long time ago.
I debated about both belts and shoes. I originally took out my Dolce and Gabbana belt, but substituted it for this gold and brown woven one once I tried it on.

The shoes were more of a challenge. I first thought about ankle boots, and then I saw these 9 West reptile embossed fabric boots, and realized that I have yet to wear them this year. So out they came.
For jewelry, of course I wore my Swarovski duo in Black Diamond on my right arm.

And on my left arm, a costume turtle cuff that I bought from an Ebay store, and a smoky topaz ring that was a gift from Doc.

I think I told you how cold it has been for the last week, but until Friday, it will be back in the low 70s at the beach. However, when I left for work, it was 47 degrees. So I layered up accordingly.

I wore a pleather jacket by Peck and Peck, and a mohair scarf made by Avoca Handweavers. I got it in Ireland in 1994. It's very warm, and not as scratchy as it looks.

So today, I am a day late, but am linking up with Kristen and Megan at www.bonbonrosegirls.com for Sunday Funday linkup. Check it out and have a Monday Funday also - it's low calorie!!!
