When we left off last time, Nathan, Kim, and the kids were out visiting. On their last day here, we all went to John's Fabulous Pizza - there is a buffet and a game hall, sort of like Chuck E Cheese. I wore a bomber jacket that I got at EcoTown and some very old navy-blue slacks. I accessorized with gold and sapphire jewelry.
On the way home, we stopped at Hobby City. It's a small amusement park that is only open on the weekends. They were getting it ready for a Halloween party. At the rear of the property is this replica of the White House - it is an event center.
We posed for a portrait in front. Here's Doc with everyone.
And me with everyone.

We went to the Dollar Tree - look what they put between the Manwich and the Beef Stew. Tough choice for what to have for lunch!
When we go to the Dollar Tree, I always get extra toys for Jacki's bucket. Today she selected the biggest rope twist to play with.
She is such a lady !
On October 14th, I unintentionally dressed like an astronaut. My velour joggers are from Guess, and my quilted top is from Zara.
On October 16th, I wore some very old jeans from a boutique in Newport Beach called The Queen Bee. They are black with leopard trim, so I wore a leopard sweater with them. My animal print shoes are from Temu. Animal print is back in style.
I placed an order with Medicare's Over the Counter program. I need to spend my last $92 this month. We get $105 per quarter. Here is what I got:
Biotene mouthwash for Doc, chicken broth for Pandi, and Medicated pads for me.
Bandaids, Povidone-Iodine nasal swabs, Curad antibiotic ointment, and Ultrabrite toothpaste.

I had five plants to replace. To go to Home Depot, I wore a patterned cardigan from The Tog Shop, black ponte pants from Express, and a bright pink sweater from Joseph A.
I accessorized with silver and turquoise jewelry.
I replaced two pots in the She Shed window box.
Here is the right side of the front porch.
Here is the left side.
And here's the whole thing. Very colorful!
October 18th was Mimi's 91st birthday. We had Indian food. I wore Mossimo burgundy tweed slacks with hot pink Flecks. I also wore an embellished sweater from Joseph A. I accessorized with a gold chain belt and various real and costume jewelry with garnets and rubies.
Here is her birthday cake - it was from Nothing Bundt Cakes and was carrot cake. Tawn decorated it with roses.
Here she is! Happy Birthday Mimi!
On October 19th, we had a neighborhood garage sale. I got this old cask from 1975 and put it in my She Shed.
I also got this pie plate with a Strawberry Pie. I have a whole collection of them.
On October 20th, we didn't do much, just walked dogs and exercised. I wore black tapered slacks, a knit top with gold studs from Serena Williams.
My costume necklace is from Shein.
On October 21st, I wore black pixie slacks with white polka dots from Old Navy, and a black swing top from the swap meet. My white shoes are also from the swap meet. We went over to Mimi's again because the housekeeper came to our house.
Black and gold jewelry for the win!
October 22nd was another day where we just relaxed. My printed slacks are from Loft, and my twist hem top is from Melrose and Market.
My jewelry is costume.
On October 23rd, I did some shopping. at CVS to use my coupons. I wore navy slacks with a green and white stripe down the side from Old Navy, and a green turtleneck with a keyhole neckline from Sele. My shoes are Gucci.
On October 25th, we went shopping at Trader Joe's. I wore olive joggers from Rachel Zoe, a camisole from Kimchi Blue, and a textured jacket from Victor Costa. I got my booties at the swap meet.
On October 27th, I wore casual clothes to hang out. My corduroy jeans are from Old Navy, my ivory henley is from e, and my velour hoodie is from Coach.

Pandi is a very happy dog!
Now here's the scary part! The next three days were a blur. I had my colonoscopy on October 30th, so that day was a bust. I did get to eat Tofu Eggplant from Wok Experience afterwards, however. The day before was all drinking prep and punishing the porcelain. I didn't sleep a wink all night due to my potty needs. But it turned out well. I am scared of anesthesia.
We only got about 15 trick-or-treaters on Halloween. We gave them packs of 2 Oreo cookies and some brownies.
On Saturday, we hung out and relaxed again. I wore the Guess velour joggers again and topped them with this sweater jacket from Too Young.
The Shein Jewelry!
Yesterday, we went to the swap meet at Golden West College. I wore knot joggers from DKNY, and a tweed top with Lurex woven through from Style and Co.
Here is what I bought! Another pie plate for my collection.
I went to specifically look for black booties. I got these waterproof leather Blondo booties for $20 - they cost around $200 at Nordstrom.
We got these melons called Dino melons. They are delicious! They taste like honeydew, only sweeter.
Today, we are at Mimi's again since the housekeeper is at our house. I have two satin sets that are cargo pants with a bomber jacket. They are back in style. One is black and one is gold. Today, I wore the gold pants with a top from Style and Co. My jewelry is costume, and my booties are from Calvin Klein.
Well, that's about all for now. Stay tuned for more shenanigans!
