This extremely comfortable dress is made by INC and the style is called "Kimono". It slips over the head and has a black satin obi and trim around the edges.
Here's a little closer look at the beautiful black and fuchsia print.
I wore my ancient, but very treasured black plastic waterfall necklace.
On my right arm, an amethyst ring that was a gift from Doc and a leather bracelet that was my souvenir from Baltimore.
On my left arm, my yellow gold wedding rings, an amethyst bracelet, and a tanzanite/diamond dust bracelet.
Let's go back in time to yesterday. This outfit is the opposite - by that I mean "NOT AL ALL COMFY" !!!This dress will be donated.
The problem with this cute dress from Old Navy is that the jersey slip underneath the top layer is too short. There is about a 3" gap between the bottom of the slip and the bottom of the dress, so I had to wear a half slip under the jersey slip. Also, the jersey slip twists around and I had to frequently readjust it.
I wore a tan suede perforated jacket from Belle Sport on top.
I also wore an ethnic style costume necklace that hasn't seen action in a while.
On my left arm, a leather/abalone cuff and my peridot ring that was a souvenir from Montana.
On my right arm, a costume bracelet that was a souvenir from Truckee, and my creepy green ring from Nordstrom.
For a more casual spin, I wore brown tights, socks with animal print cuffs, and suede high heeled hikers from Mossimo.
So what else has been going on around Casa de Holtzman?
We had one big Money Tree (aka Pachira), but she has not done well during this cloudy, rainy winter. She needs lots of indirect light. So I have been moving her around the house when I am at home, to catch all the rays possible. Doc also bought me a little friend for her at the florist when he got last Wednesday's flowers. So the two of them can keep each other company.
And finally, I made T bone steaks for dinner on Sunday - Yum!!
Lots of links today - I can't figure out if it's because I have had to cut back a little in blog frequency for the last couple of months, or if there are just so many cool blogs out there for women over 40.
PS - I am way over 40, and even way over 50. So away we go !!!
