Last night, my grandkids came over to visit, and the encounter ended up with me in the pool, doing specific dives and strokes and underwater escapades on command. I swim like a fish - always have. The only thing I could not successfully execute was Joseph's idea - "Pretend like you are going to dive, then fake everyone out and do a cannonball , but first twist around one way, then the other, then lift one knee up, then the other and do a cannonball". Okay. So I faked, did a half twist, then lifted one knee and then the other. I can't jump high enough without a diving board to switch twists in mid air. It was fun. I am 57 going on 6.
Back to work today, and this is what I am wearing:
The dress underneath the chiffon peasant top is going in the trash. The zipper got stuck 3/4 of the way up. Doc tried and he couldn't get it to go, either. So I took it off, zipped it up with great difficulty, and then shimmied into it while it was zipped up. That's a lot of contortion for a dress. And besides that, I have a huge selection of plain black dresses to pick from. So hasta la vista, cute dress.
I wore my famous signature (hahaha) triple necklaces today. The top one is a garnet blossom - I gave my niece the same one at my mom's funeral, so we have matching necklaces. The middle one is a garnet cross that was my mom's, and the longest is a herringbone chain.
Only one arm of goodies today, but what an arm!!! I have a Colleen Lopez garnet cluster (I treated myself to this on my 57th birthday), a garnet/opal bracelet and a garnet bracelet. I love the way these two big bracelets look together, but I am a fan of the over the top look in general.
So let's get to our mob of links:

So I will attempt to stay dry today. I work out for three days in a row, and then take the fourth day off to recover. I was definitely tired last night - I walked at lunch, worked out to Tony Horton, walked the dogs and then did my pool extravaganza. See you all later!!
