I'm Blue, so Blue

No, I am not sad, I just wore this beautiful color two days in a row. Yesterday, which was my MIL, Mimi's birthday (I told her not to look at the blog or she will see what her gift is), this is what I wore:

This is one of my favorite dresses, from Calvin Klein. It's a thick scuba knit with a very unusual and striking pattern.

I always wear the same two necklaces with this dress. They are faux turquoise necklaces that I got in Las Vegas. I always get compliments on them.

On my right arm, a tricolor Italian gold bracelet, a diamond eternity band and a chalcedony ring.

On my right arm, a turquoise/tanzanite bracelet and an amethyst ring that Doc had made for me several years ago.

Onto today, and more blue !! This is a knit skirt from Express and an embellished, boxy cut top from Nordstrom.

You can see the embellishment better in this pic of my two necklaces. The shorter one is sapphire/diamond, and the longer one is lapis.

On my left arm, the same tricolor gold bracelet as yesterday, and a diamond/sapphire ring.

On my right arm, a sapphire cocktail ring and a sapphire/diamond bangle.

The Clump of Color

I was off yesterday, so you get two outfits, plus shenanigans, today. First, an old favorite that I wore yesterday:

This is my Slinky Brand cold shoulder pants set that I wear all the time.

The only new thing is how Pandi kept trying to photo bomb me the entire time.

This photo is dark, because I was at the doctor's office, but you have all seen this Greenbeads by Emily and Ashley necklace many times.

On my left arm, a huge smoky topaz ring and a gold/diamond dust bangle.

On my right arm, another smoky topaz ring and a leopard enamel cuff from Betsy Johnson.

Today, we have yet another inspection at the hospital, and I have to attend a luncheon, so I wanted to look classic and muted. 

The only color comes from my purple silk top and my amethyst jewelry. I layered two necklaces.

On my left arm, my yellow gold wedding rings and two amethyst/diamond bracelets.

On my right arm, two more amethyst bracelets and an amethyst ring.

Now what about the color and the clump ?

These are the pots and the plants that I bought over the weekend to freshen up the front yard and porch.

Wednesday is my MIL Mimi's birthday, so I wrapped her gift up in pink and silver.

She asked for some skin care products, so I got her a complete line from Oil of Olay, two facial masks, and a set of scented lotion.

And here it is, all wrapped up and ready to go !!!

Guess the Designer

You will have a great deal of trouble figuring out who designed the dress I am wearing today.

Here's another clue. Why yes, it's Calvin Klein !!!

I wore two necklaces - a short gold chain and an LV padlock pendant.

On my right arm, a studded cuff and a crystal/enamel ring from Saks.

On my left arm, Hermes CDC and yellow gold wedding rings.

Yesterday, I was much more subtle, in my Antthony Designs pantset.

It has a gold tone ornament that holds the draping in place. It's very flattering and super comfy.

A duo of necklaces yesterday, too. The shorter one is jade/lapis, and the longer one faux emerald.

On my left arm, a London Blue topaz ring and two sapphire bracelets.

On my right arm, a sapphire/diamond ring and two diamond dust bracelets.

My Ipsy bag for October came - I put the cute little card on my office door frame.

The bag is lace imprinted and the zipper pull is a bat.

The Unbelievable Actually Happened !!!

Contrary to my prediction, my Wayfair sofa actually arrived yesterday !!! It is exactly what we wanted, it's just too bad that the company has such horrible customer service that I will never purchase from them again. By the way, the new sofa has passed Pandi inspection:

I am so happy that this terrible experience has ended with an acceptable product. I had big doubts.
Our old black leather sofa was picked up by our son and taken over to his friend's house. She just got divorced and has nothing, and was happy to get it.

This is what I wore yesterday:

This is a Loft skirt - it's grey wool with multicolored embroidery on it. I am wearing it with a purple knit sharkbite tunic from Antthony Designs.

My colored glass necklace was the perfect touch to bring out the colors of the embroidery.

On my left arm, a sapphire/diamond ring, a tanzanite tennis bracelet, and a sapphire tennis bracelet.

On my right arm, an amethyst/opal ring, a CZ bracelet, and a multicolored gemstone bracelet.

I got my October Birchbox yesterday.

I wore a cameo on a rose velvet cord.

On my left arm, a leather/abalone cuff and my yellow gold wedding rings.

On my right arm, a leather/crystal bracelet and a marcasite/ topaz ring.
