Let's Catch Up on My Clothes

We'll start with my outfit from yesterday:

I wasn't crazy about this get up. It looks okay in these pictures, but it was really uncomfortable. The waist of the Clio skirt was too big, so it bunched up between the belt and the skirt in the back. The lime sequined tank is by INC, and the floral blouse is by Worthington.

I wore three necklaces - two are amethyst pendants, and the one you can't see is emerald/diamond.

On my right arm, my Montana peridot ring, an amethyst tennis bracelet, and a multicolored gem tennis bracelet.

On my left arm, my yellow gold wedding set, and two jade bracelets - one pale green and one lavender.

Well, I probably won't repeat this uncomfy outfit. But it did prompt me to go for an outfit of complete comfort today.

This outfit is white pants of unknown provenance, but they are very old. The hot pink tunic is from a brand called T . I don't know where I got it, but it was at a mall store somewhere.

Here is a better look at the trim on the hem of the tunic.

Once again, the triad of necklaces. The longest one is herringbone liquid silver, the middle one is a tanzanite pendant, and the shortest one is mother of pearl.

On my right arm, a silver bracelet with pink mother of pearl, and a pink tourmaline ring.

On my left arm, my Swarovski Trema ring, a silver bracelet, and a diamond tennis braclet set in white gold.

Doing my Duty

One of our patients has her service dog with her while she is hospitalized, and I have been lucky enough to be asked to walk him. Behold Axl:

Isn't he cute? He's a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

I have two outfits to show you. First, on Thursday:

I am wearing white Michael Kors pants, and a chiffon poncho from Nordstrom. I wore three silver necklaces with this outfit.

I have an Italian coin on a herringbone chain, and a long rope that I have doubled up. It's reallllly long.

I also wore a circle made of tiny diamonds.

On my left arm, a silver/rose gold bracelet, and a mother of pearl ring.

On my right arm, two more silver bracelets (one with dyed MOP), a smoky topaz ring, and a big citrine.

Onto today:

This is a crepe shift dress by Carole Little. It has a border printed edge.

I am wearing my Talbott's black velvet belt.

Three necklaces again - the longest one is costume from Joan Rivers.

The medium one is a costume barrel on a gold herringbone chain, and the shortest is a Journey Through Life diamond pendant.

On my right arm, two gold bracelets, and a garnet/citrine cross ring.

On my left arm, my yellow gold wedding set, and two more gold/garnet bracelets.

My July Ipsy bag came last night.

It had five products in it:
1) Pur Correcting Primer
2) Organic Surge Daily Care Reviving Eye Gel
3) Make Up Forever Excessive Lash Mascara
4) Thrive Infinity Waterproof Eyeliner in Lauren
5) not pictured - a brow pencil. I'll give the name later. Somehow I didn't get it in the frame.

Silver or Grey?

For some unknown reason, everyone in the office wore grey today. And even though I would consider my dress silver, it counts. See for yourself:

This is a dress from Alfani. It has an elasticized waist that I covered with a wide elastic belt with crystals. At picture time today, Doc asked why I was holding my purse, since I usually do not have it. Today, we are going to Spaghatini, a nearby restaurant, for happy hour with a bunch of people from work. So I am carrying a special purse today.

I wore two necklaces - one is the sparklies by the yard that I wore yesterday, and the larger one is Nolan Miller.

My snakeskin wedges are by Worthington.

On my right arm, the same two diamond tennis bracelets that I wore yesterday, and a costume crystal ring.

On my left arm, a triple row garnet bracelet, a garnet/opal bracelet, a ruby/diamond band, and a round solitaire.

L B D

That about says it all !!!! Today's version is from White House Black Market.

It's hard to see, but this is a thick jersey knit (almost scuba, but with a cotton finish). It has 7 tiers, then a ruffle. I can tell that the spandex content is high and it is fully lined.  I added the red ribbon sash.

I wore three necklaces. The middle one is a lacy medallion, and the other two are silver chains with sparkly spacers.  All three were left to me by my mom.

On my right arm, two diamond tennis bracelets, (Mom again), and a fire opal ring.

On my left arm, a garnet bracelet, a ruby/diamond band and a round solitaire.

Short and sweet, just like the dress!!!

The Weekend Was Good and Bad

We'll do the bad first. I went to the dentist for a root canal, and when the endodontist was done, the regular dentist was putting on the crown and.........HE BROKE MY TOOTH. Ugh. I was so mad. So he put in a giant filling and we will see what happens.

Now for the good. We decided to get movies to watch that evening. We got Witch, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Look what was inside Witch.

So we left the $2 inside and paid it forward. The note said "Enjoy the movie on us. God Bless" Now whoever rents it next will get the $2.

I also did my hair. I chose a much redder, strawberry blond color this time. I like it, but let's see how long it lasts.

Then I stopped by Daiso to get two mini mason jars and ended up getting Elli two new dresses as well.

On Sunday, I went running, then we went to Fashion Island, in Newport Beach, for lunch.
Here's what I wore:

This is a little no-name mini dress. It's a sort of chiffon material. I wore my tan suede belt with silver ovals and gold wedge sandals.

I wore one of the necklaces that I got at the Taste of Charlotte last month.

On my right arm, a silver/blue topaz bracelet, a diamond bracelet, and a pearl ring.

On my left arm, a braided bracelet, my sapphire/diamond band, and a diamond solitaire.

We went to True Foods Kitchen for lunch, because our friend is vegan.

You can see how nice the day was. It was 81 degrees in Newport.

You can eat outside or inside, and we always pick outside if possible.

I had a fig mule cocktail - fig vodka, pomegranate juice, and ginger beer. Delicious

I also had the spaghetti squash casserole. Delicious.

Doc had the garden scramble. He said it was delicious too. We did find the portions somewhat smaller than we are used to, so next time, we will get an appetizer.

Fashion Island is a beautiful upscale outdoor mall. This is the koi pond, a big attraction. Lots of tour buses stop at this mall for dining and shopping. I didn't buy anything, but I did get two generous samples of Chanel The Beiges Foundation.

Today, it's back to work. Here's what I wore:

I got this turquoise/brown sundress and suede jacket at the Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu. My nephew moved from Hawaii in 2009, so it's at least that old.

I wore one of my mom's necklaces.

On my right arm, an amethyst/opal ring and a turquoise cuff that Doc got me.

On my left arm, another turquoise cuff, and the turquoise/mother of pearl ring that Luke, Ashley, and Preston got me one Christmas.

And that's all, except for two links - www.northwestblonde.com, and www.stylenudge.com

See you all tomorrow!!!
