Shimmery and Silvery

Today's outfit is liquid silver:

I am wearing a satin charmeuse top from Dress Barn, and a reptile print chiffon skirt from Sharagano. I accessorized with a stone necklace that I got at a swap meet.

Since the top has long sleeves with ruched cuffs, only two rings today, and no bracelets.

On my right hand, a silver and mabe pearl wide band,

And an eternity band with a pear solitaire on my left hand. So this came yesterday in the mail:

Them Bones, them Bones, Them Dry Dry Bones

This weekend, I got the boys a treat, since it rained on Friday night and they didn't get their walk. Feast your eyes:

Two big old Cow knuckles. I boiled them up and went out back.

I gave them a good look at their quarry.

Kenni tried to snatch his, but I made him work for it.

He scrunched and then launched, ears out for ballast.

Vinni was watching and copying as the sproinging began.

Look how far up he got his big old gut.

He did really well, and so he got his bone.

Then Vinni sat like a little meerkat.

And the other bone was his.

After I made sure that there would be no fighting, I scrammed outta there.


Onto today's outfit. Once again, it's raining. So I decided to wear another of my super easy care pantsuits by Antthony Designs.

I wore my purple Austrian crystal necklace.

On my right hand, a gold bracelet, an amethyst bracelet, and a ring with tanzanite and blue topaz.

On my left arm, an amethyst bracelet, a multicolored gem bracelet, and an amethyst ring.

I haven't worn these shoes yet this year - they are grey suede oxfords by Newport News.

In sickness and In Health

As I told you a couple of weeks ago, Elli was diagnosed with a heart condition and she takes Lasix and an ACE inhibitor to help her out. But she doesn't let that slow her down. Yesterday was her day as spokesmodel for Beach Medical, and as usual, she was rarin' to go.

She got to the office early and waited anxiously by the front door for her first patient.

Of course, since she is so good at her job, it didn't take long for her to be called into the exam room.

After that, she felt the need to relax a bit with her friend and fellow cardiac patient, Dr T.

Then, it was lunch time. Now don't be cruel, remember she is taking Lasix, so she pees a bunch. Please ignore her spot.

You will notice, that one of her BFFs changed her into her Vegas dress. She spent the rest of the afternoon chillin' with her besties.

What would she do without Evelyn and Renee? She wouldn't be nearly as happy to go to work.

As for me, I was also on the run to get to work this morning.

I am wearing The Limited crop pants with a Joseph A argyle sweater. I doubled up on necklaces again today.

The longer one is Kenneth Jay Lane, and the shorter one is pearl and diamond chips.

On my right arm, a gold/diamond dust bangle and a pearl/diamond ring.

On my left arm, another gold/diamond dust bangle, and an adventurine ring. I finished the outfit off with Coach loafers.

Roses for Rosie

I got these yesterday:

Pretty red roses from my true love. I also got something else in the mail that I truly love:

A giant bottle of my favorite perfume!!! It was only $19 on Amazon. That's a great deal.

I didn't get to post yesterday because there was too much foofarah at work. But on Wednesday, this is what I wore:

A tan suede skirt with a black/tan geometric sweater from INC. I topped it with a black lace bomber jacket from Bar III, but I barely wore the jacket. I wore my black BCBG boots.

I doubled up on necklaces, and got a lot of compliments about it. The big one is a freshwater pearl torsade that my mom gave me, and the longer one is chocolate and clear diamonds from Doc.

On my right hand, I wore a huge vintage smoky topaz ring. One of my friends calls it my "old lady ring".

I didn't take a picture of my left hand, so I'm guessing that I wore my wedding rings.

Onto today. I wore a satin charmeuse dress from Mixit.

I wore my grey suede boots with this. I also wore an Austrian crystal necklace.

On my right arm, an opal and amethyst ring, and two silver bracelets - one tanzanite and one sapphire.

On my left arm, another opal/amethyst ring and a bracelet of amethyst, quartz and agate.

Animal Style

I am a wild thing today. My animal prints are out of control and clashing. See ?

I am wearing a Style and Co reptile print skirt in tones of brown, while carrying a Neiman Marcus reptile print bag in tones of black and grey. Oh well, I like it, since my house is about as close to Noah's Ark as it gets. The boucle jacket is by Graff and the shoes are my new Nine West from Saks.
I tied this together with some gold touches. First, my black velvet belt with the gold buckle.

Next, my slinky lariat necklace from Greenbeads that I got at Neiman Marcus as well.

I was pretty generous with myself over my birthday. On my right arm,

My Swarovski Nirvana in Black Diamond, two gold bracelets and a diamond tennis bracelet that you can't see too well in the pic.

On my left arm,

A stack of rose gold thin bangles and my yellow gold wedding rings. And that's about all for today, so let's do two links.
