I am an Olympic medalist in today's outfit:
My skirt is Laundry by Shelli Siegel, and my shimmery top is Style and Co.
I topped it with an iridescent green anorak by Calvin Klein. More gold sparkles away in the form of my Greenbeads lariat.
I wore a vintage belt of ivory cord with a golden ornament.
Two green rings complete the jewelry picture - on my left hand, chalcedony, and on my right, green agate.
I wore my Carlos Santana suede gladiators, and carried my Aldo handbag.
Over the weekend, I finally got time to take a nice long run through Huntington Beach Central Park. I ran into my little Egyptian goose family, and one of the babies came right up to beg from me.
He is such a beauty - now he has his red feet, just like his mama and pappy. Lots of other birds were enjoying the lake.
And the myrtles were in full bloom.
All in all, a lovely morning in the park !!!
So let's link up with some of my blogger friends. First, Patti at www.notdeadyetstyle.com has Visible Monday. Then, Deb at www.elegantlyfashionable.com has Classy Monday and Cherie has Shoe and Tell over at www.stylenudge.com.

A Rose By Any Other Name
Today's magical color is rose. I struggled with this, then remembered this beautiful cashmere dress from Ann Taylor.
On my left arm, my yellow gold wedding set, and a gold/diamond dust bangle.
It's actually more of a fuschia color, but that's close enough for me.
Here's a closeup of my sequined belt. It allows me to tie in green and purple with this dress.
I doubled up on necklaces - the shorter one is genuine emerald, and the longer one is faux.
On my left arm, my yellow gold wedding set, and a gold/diamond dust bangle.
On my right arm, an emerald and diamond ring, and two small bracelets, one with peridot.
Since yesterday was Thursday, it was Elli's day to work at Beach Medical. She was all set up in her crate office in the back room.
Then, she got a red alert - she had a patient consult.
She was extremely interested in helping her patient solve their complex medical issue.
She and her BFF Renee escorted the patient into Elli's office.
Elli reviewed the chart .
Wow, this one will be a challenge !!!
But Elli grabbed the bull by the horns, and everything got sorted out.
She then said goodbye to her consult and escorted them out. She wanted me to assure you that the large stain on the lobby carpet was NOT her fault.
So let's do the Friday linking !!! First, over at www.fashionshouldbefun.com, Dawn Lucy is having Fun Fashion Friday. Then, JoLynne at www.jolynneshane.com has Fashion Friday.
So have a great weekend, and Elli and I will see you next week !!!

The Skater's Waltz
Today, I decided to wear my Rachel Roy skater style dress. It's very comfy and flattering.
It's a bluish purple color with a black band at the hem. I had several wardrobe malfunctions with my tights - one pair had a hole and one pair had a stretched out waistband. I finally got these patterned ones on and put on my BCBG boots.
I wore my long INC tassel necklace with this dress, in order to give it a long line.
On my right arm, my London Blue Topaz ring and two more sapphire/diamond bracelets.
I carried my new purse from Neiman Marcus. I got it for my birthday with a gift card.
So our little Elli is quite old. She has fainted twice, so Doc took her to the vet, Dr Lizardo, so they could have a doc to doc talk about her treatment. At her age, we are against anything invasive or painful. Here she is, in the Beach Blvd Pet Hospital lobby.
It turns out that she has a heart murmur. She will be getting an ACE inhibitor and Lasix to ease the stress on her little ticker. She goes back in three weeks to see if it's helping. We hope so. Here she is, at our front door, quite relieved that she is getting some medical help.
Let's do our regular Thursday links!!! First, Alice at www.happinessatmidlife.com has Throwback Thursday. Then, Nicole at www.highlatitudestyle.com has Top of The World Style.
Have a good day !!! Elli is at her job today, so there will be cuteness overload tomorrow !!!

The Royal Treatment
I have heard that purple is the traditional color of royalty. But then we also have royal blue. So I decided to be super royal (like the princess that I am) and combine both colors in my outfit for today.
This is an INC pencil skirt with an equestrian motif, topped by a Catherine Malandrino bat wing blouse.
To further play off the royal treatment, I am wearing two necklaces, one short lapis number that I got in Coronado, and a longer Viking Battle axe that belongs to Doc.
Of course, I over accessorized with sapphires. On my left arm, I have three sapphire bracelets and a London Blue Topaz ring.
On my right arm, I have a sapphire cocktail ring, and another gold bracelet.
I finished off with a vintage navy cord and gold medallion belt, and my Nine West black sandals with the gold studs.
Due to commitments at work (the nerve !!!) I didn't have time to post yesterday. But I did save my pix, and here is what I wore:
This hippie style dress is from Victoria's Secret. It doesn't need a lot of fluffing, but I did wear some cool jewelry. I used my butterfly hangers to arrange the gems.
I wore my buffalo turquoise and smoky topaz statement necklace.
On my left arm, I wore my Swarovski duo - the Infinity bracelet and my Nirvana in Black Diamond.
On my right arm, a mabe pearl ring and a silver bracelet with smoky topaz.
On Sunday, I went to Ulta, because I needed foundation. I got two different kinds.
I am using the one on the left. It's very thick, but I warm it up in my palm, and then use my Beauty Blender. It has good coverage. So if you spend $19.50, you get a free gift, which I am ALL about.
You can pick either mint or lavender. I got lavender. Here's what was inside:
1) Travel size Apricot blush/ Yellow Diamond Highlighter
2) 15 makeup remover pads
3) Dual ended eyeliner in Black Brown/ Halo
4) Brow Pencil in Warm Brown
5) 3 brushes - Blush, small eyeshadow, large eyeshadow
6) Travel size nail polish in Lilac-ing You
7) 6 pan eyeshadow - Full Moon, Romance, Brownie, Moonbeam, Bayou, Give Me Gold
8) Weightless Lipstick in Mauve Me
9) Mini Matte Lip Cream in Allusive
10) Voluptuous Volume Mascara in Jet Black
11) Flawless Primer
12) $5 coupon off a future $10 purchase.
Pretty nice gift, eh? Now for some mega linking !!! First, Jess has Turning Heads Tuesday over at www.elegantlydressedandstylish.com. Goldfinger !!!!
Today's color on the magical calendar is gold. And that's a good thing, because I got a new blouse from Neiman Marcus this weekend !!!
It's made by Equipment. It's 100% cotton, and you could have fooled me, because it's metallic. The sheen is sort of matte gold - very pretty. With it, I am wearing Iman Global Chic pants and a bunch of accessories.
This elasticized belt is from an unknown source, but it's gold and brown - a perfect match!!! Also, I wore a pair of shoes that don't get a lot of lovin', due to the unique color combination.
They are made by Nine West (my favorite shoe brand) and I have the same ones in the black, grey and burgundy color combination. I doubled up on pearl and gold necklaces as well.
The shorter one is real freshwater pearls and the longer one is Kenneth Jay Lane.
And that's about all for today, except for the links!!! Cherie at www.stylenudge.com has Shoe and Tell, and Rachelle at www.pinksole.com has How I Fall. Then, Ana Luiza has Start The week Stylish over at ww.northwestblonde.com and Deb at www.elegantlyfashionable.com has Classy Monday.
Have a good Monday, and I will show you all my Ulta score tomorrow!!
